I had initially posted this following introduction as part of my first article, but felt like it got lost in it. That first article was rather lengthy, lol. I thought I would post it again now on its own so its easier to get to know what My Undivided Life is about.
My writing intentions
Thank you for being curious and starting to read at My Undivided Life! I am excited to get to know you and hope you find helpful, supportive and interesting information here. In these pages you will find I am focused on meditation, yoga and mindful methods and practices. I feel they are a missing tool in helping you cope with life and its challenges that cause your suffering. In my opinion, the practice and experience of meditation and yoga are some of the greatest coping skills to have as your companion during difficult times and well beyond it too! My writings will sometimes be my opinions, they might be researched, and sometimes stories about other interests I find important to the topic of coping so you can stop your suffering. An Undivided Life is after all, multidimensional!
About Me
I am a Yoga therapist. What that means is I utilize yoga, meditation and mindful techniques in a therapeutic manner. In doing so, I address your issues from a full perspective of mind, body, and spirit. So for instance if you have pain, anxiety, or depression, or even a chronic illness, I see answers from the intertwined aspects of the physical, emotional, and mental health component of them.
I started with yoga in 1996 as a curiosity. I thought it was the dumbest exercise i had ever done up to that point in time! But it was magnetic and I fell in love with its inclusive sense of self healing and I have never stopped practicing it. And yes I do it everyday and have since then, along with meditation. I value both that much for what they add to my life, heal, and get me through! I got my first yoga teacher training in 2008 and was finally a certified yoga therapist in 2017. I also have 100 hours of training in the YogaFit®️ for Warriors Trauma Sensitive Yoga Program. And then there are the numerous other training modalities in fitness and natural health modalities too. I have partnered with local doctors and I have over 13 years experience working with a variety of emotional life and health issues including chronic illness. I am a Reiki master and an Advanced ThetaHealing®️ Practitioner too.
